Hello! My name is Jason Dorow, and I’m a play-by-play broadcaster in Seattle, currently calling Pac-12 Plus streams for University of Washington baseball, volleyball, soccer and basketball; ESPN+ broadcasts of Seattle University volleyball; and live streams of various sports at the University of Puget Sound. Over the last five years, I’ve provided play-by-play on the D-I, D-III and high school levels, spanning baseball, basketball, football, hockey, lacrosse, soccer, softball and volleyball. You can view my latest reel below or by following this link, and you can see my resume by clicking here.

My passion for storytelling and broadcasting developed in college as the sports director at Northwestern University’s student-run radio station (WNUR), and I followed that passion into a career in play-by-play. After graduation, I moved to the Twin Cities and worked with the University of Minnesota for broadcasts on BTN Plus and KFAN Plus and called live streams for St. Catherine University, Augsburg University, Minnesota Prep Spotlight and QCTV.

On top of earning a bachelor’s degree from the Medill School of Journalism and a certificate in integrated marketing communications, I was a member of the Northwestern club basketball team and a practice player for the Northwestern women’s varsity basketball team. If I’m not calling a game or hooping, I’m probably exploring the great outdoors through a scenic hike.
